Norse mythology tells of a dangerous sea known as Gandvik—the Bay of Serpents—due to its tortuous shape (and the sea monsters that supposedly dwelt within it). Today, we know that menacing body of water as the Baltic Sea, birthplace of the Baltic Porter. True to its style, our Gandvik has a clean, velvety malt character with hints of chocolate and dark fruit that surge before a smooth lager finish. And true to its name, it’s a little dangerous.
