Bittersweet Cherry Sour

A Red Lambic-style sour ale with a solid helping of dark red and sour red cherries. In this beer, the red malt base creates a lovely caramel/toffee backing in perfect harmony with the deep & rich fruit notes from the cherries. Through fermentation, mild red wine notes have been produced, lending character inspired by historical styles such as the Belgian Flanders Red Ales of old.This beer was brewed as a collab with friend-of-the-brewery Bonniesongs, to celebrate the release of her latest single, ‘Bittersweet’.
