Our Wee Heavy underwent triple fermentation, aged 12 months in bourbon and brandy barrels then conditioned in bottles for a further 12 months. An aroma of sweet caramel malt, nuts, figs and stone-fruits blend to a zippy palate of rum soaked raisins and Christmas fruit cake. It's a complex beer so embrace the underlying tartness and added funk from wild yeasts, brettanomyces and a whole lotta time in the making.
