Traditionally speaking, an imp is a small, mischievous devil or sprite.However, in the beer world, imp is also short for Imperial Stout. If you don’t know, now you know! You’re welcome.The Imp is a blend of our 3 different, core streams of our base imperial stout that has only been aged in stainless (no wood barrels). The three streams were aged for 8, 6 and 5 months in stainless.It is a big viscous beauty that is rich in chocolate, toffee, caramel, and roasty coffee notes.
