"This wild Alex is a mixed culture saison brewed with spelt, wheat, basswood honey, and Staghorn Sumac flowers. It was fermented for twenty months in neutral wine barrels, which led to aromas of dried grapefruit, pencil shavings, cedar bark, and mossy river stones. Flavors lead you down a midieval cellar hallway through moist old oak, bitter mugwart and dried citrus peels, balanced by a sweetened rosehip tea and soft acidity.
