Imperial Stout aged for 18 months in a Heaven Hill rye whiskey barrel and conditioned on Comoros vanilla beans, pistachios and toasted coconut flakes. There is a nuttiness that blends beautifully with the vanilla and gentle wood notes from the rye barrel. Tons of toasted coconut on the nose, and filled with flavors of thick ganache and light spiced whiskey. It is sweet and dense and has a nice undertone of crushed pistachios. The beer finishes with a palate of sticky coconut and soft vanilla.
