Insight: Aronia

Aronia is one odd berry! It is native to Vermont. Grows really well, yet has struggled to become acommercial fruit of any kind. Many Vermonters are familiar with the interesting mix of ripe berry juice, wood and leather. I set out last fall to make a series of fruit beers with some of the more challenging berries of Vermont.
