This is a collaboration with our friends at Vignaioli Contrà Soarda, an Italian winemaking family. After visiting them in 2019, we left with wine, yeast and barrels to create a series of beers that combine the best of both our worlds.No grapes were harmed in the making of this beer: this is a light saison that we fermented with the indigenous yeast that grows naturally on the Vespaiolo grapes. The fermentation with this yeast culture brought vinous, orange and floral flavours, and a long aftertaste to this beer.
