Dominik and Stephan met Julia (our brewer on site) at the beer sommelier course in Munich back in 2022. Because all three shared a passion for the extraordinary, they had joined forces to create something new, something more than just a dark beer.The name itself hinted at mystery—whispers, half-truths, and legends of a brew aged to perfection. Each pour from the barrel held stories that stretched beyond the walls of the brewhouse, evolving with every sip, every breath.For six patient months, their Imperial Stout rested in a Rum barrel, soaking up tales of tropical shores and the woody remnants of spiced spirits. When the brewers finally opened the barrel, a rich aroma unfurled, filling the room with scents of dark chocolate, molasses, and an unmistakable hint of Jamaican rum. It was powerful yet familiar, like the first bite of a dark chocolate bar you’ve known forever but still crave anew.The first sip was like diving into a Cadbury Bournville Old Jamaican Chocolate—a burst of velvety cocoa, followed by a lingering warmth of rum that hinted at something more.
