The base Winter Warmer this year, Picea Breweriana (6.7% ABV), features a heavy dosing of English and dark Crystal Malts alongside 1 lb/bbl of Spruce Tips in the whirlpool. Notes of cherry, blueberry, and sweet sap overflow from this bright amber hued brew.⠀• • • ⠀We then blended in Oak Spirals to create Norwegian Wood (9% ABV). This experimental version of our Winter Warmer picked up notes of light oak via the spirals as well as caramel and toffee to round out a deliciously dangerous beverage.
