A collaboration with our friends at Burdock Brewery, Burrel is a hybrid beverage; A blend of beer, cider and wine.In the before times, the folks at Burdock made a sour beer and aged it on Chardonnay skins.It was pretty weird and quite tart. Not knowing what to do with it, they called the sourest folks in the biz (that's us!).Blending sour beer with tart cider is a weirdly masochistic thing to do. But when Burdock calls, the only correct response is 'how high'?We jumped into action.First, we forgot about the beer for a couple years. Then, we blended it with the choicest barrels of cider and skin contact Gewürtz. After many months in bottle and a sprinkle of divine intervention, Burrel has achieved greatness.
