One bridge between the variations is the use of hops in the whirlpool. It's a time betwixt and between - the liquid is not yet in the fermentor, but it is also not yet out of the boil kettle. Whirls Apart is an incredibly smooth Double IPA brewed in the new style, worlds apart from the giant IBU beers of the past. Hopped with a simple yet glorious blend of Galaxy and Wakatu, you'll find notes of of pine, pineapple, coconut shavings, underripe peach and subtle Pinot Grigio.
