In May 2014, Thornbridge, Waitrose and Brew UK launched the Great British Home Brew Challenge. After tasting over two hundred entries, an expert panel of judges announced the winner as Graham Nelson's Vienna IPA. Graham then joined the Thornbridge brewing team to make his beer, a full-bodied IPA made with Vienna and Biscuit malt to create a rounded flavour. Tropical fruit flavours result from extensive dry-hopping with Citra and Ahtanum and the use of Columbus adds further complexity to the taste.
