Saison by the sea is a barrel-aged beer with 8.8% that speaks to you in Spring time’s language. It features a light golden hue, with a very bright head. On the nose, this Imperial Saison brings both floral and herbal aromas but also sparkles some white wine notes.Once it reaches your tongue, there are lemony, herbal and peppery flavors, on a sweet delicate taste. It’s aging in white wine barrels brought some brightness, balance and lightness to this Belgian-style beer. It was hopped with Sorachi Ace - originally from Japan - which contributes lemon and citrus flavors to the beer.
