Whale Shark was intended for an annual stout event in November at 16 TonsBottleshop in Eugene, Oregon. But we felt the beer just wasn’t finished picking up all of thosedelicious bourbon and oak flavors, so we let those barrels rest a little longer until it was ready. Theresult: a big imperial stout filled with chocolate, toasted nut character, dark licorice, and molassesnotes. Well rested, indeed.
