Comet & Trident Pale Ale

Our brewers are always looking for the latest hop varietals (and even a few classic ones) to combine together in new and innovative ways. This is the first time we've experimented with combining the classic Comet hop with Trident - a blend of three Pacific Northwest hops. The resulting beer is very tropical fruit-forward, with notes of passionfruit and candied pineapple. The mouthfeel is full and there is a noticeable bitterness that lingers briefly after the sip. A great beer for the warmer months of spring and summer.
