The first iteration in what will be a series of sensibly adjuncted Barleywines- we aged this beer in a Willett bourbon barrel for 1 year before conditioning it on a blend of Vanilla beans from Mexico, Tahiti and Ecuador. We love how the vanilla plays off the dark fruit, caramel and pale chocolate notes from the base beer.
