Small-batch dessert mead made with Polish honey and Schaarbeekse Krieken (1.2kg/l).A couple of years ago, my Belgian friend Koen planted the first Schaarbeekse Krieken trees in Poland. The cherries used to make this mead are straight from the first harvest of these trees.I wanted to highlight the unique flavour profile of the Schaarbeekse Krieken and used only honey and the cherries. A very simple recipe with no adjuncts.
