Our first collaboration with Amalgam Brewing in Denver is now ready! This beer is almost two years in the making. Amalgam was planning on sending a few kegs of their golden sour to Belgium right before the pandemic hit in 2020. With those plans canceled, they reached out to us to see if we wanted to chop something up. Of course we did. They helped us source a fresh gin barrel. We selected a mature barrel of Funky Blender and aged it in said gin barrel for an additional 11 months. We then blended our gin barrel Funky Blender with a small amount of Amalgam's beer.
