Fell From the Nest

According to 5th Century Greek Historian, Herodotus, enormous birds held cinnamon sticks in their mountaintop nests that were unreachable for any human. To get the cinnamon, people would leave large pieces of ox meat for the birds to collect, and when the birds brought the meat into the nest, its weight would cause the nests to fall to the ground, and release the cinnamon. Thankfully, our cinnamon was a little easier to get, because we used a ton of it in this tasty Cinnamon Saison!
