This funky number began life as a biere de garde - a strong, French style golden ale - before we ensconced it into a Sauternes cask in late 2019. Now, two and a half years later, it has been released. Complex fresh and funky aromas give way to enthralling vinous flavours. The palate boasts lime peel, peach fuzz and toast, with the depth and weight of a rich, buttery Chardonnay. Finishes tart, with a smooth, soft texture.
