Red Saison

We continue our saison series for 2019 with a somewhat maltier beer this time. We added some munich and darker malts to get a lovely deep red color. The maltiness is evident already on the nose in combination with a typical farmhouse character from the saison yeast, as well as some hints of herbs for which the Saaz on dry hop is responsible. Dry unsalted crackers on the palate with the hops adding a herbal impression as in the aroma. The saison yeast takes care of the super dry finish in this beer, which makes it a proper summer refreshment
