Brewed for the 5th birthday celebrations of one of our favourite bars around ‘Amedea’ in Whitstable.After speaking with the owner, Ed, we decided we wanted to brew something really easy drinking to match the laid back and relaxing atmosphere of his cafe-bar and so we decided to brew an ultra sessionable Anglo-American Pale Ale.We used our favourite pale barley base with a touch of oats and dextrin. We then layered UK Bramling Cross hops along with US Amarillo and centennial on both the hot side and cold giving an ultra refreshing light yellow pale ale with notes of fresh citrus and berry.Happy Birthday Amedea!
