The Delirium Sour Quadruple is a new and dark brown beer of 10.8% that matured in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels.The beer offers a complex interplay of oak, caramel (from the roasted malts) and fruitiness from the yeast. It has a slightly sweet start, full-bodied and warming mouthfeel due to the alcohol, in contrast to the sour touch. The aftertaste betrays roasted malts and is reminiscent of chocolate. In short, it is a nice wild beer!The beer will be launched in a limited edition and exclusively in Colruyt. Only 8,500 bottles have been bottled.
