Cold IPA

'Cold IPA' the trending new version of the Indian Pale Lager the universally loathed and long ago forgotten about, non-hazy style. A Cold IPA uses a lager yeast fermented cold or warm or an ale yeast fermented warm or cold but then it's imperative that it's cold conditioned or if it was already fermented with a lager yeast not cold conditioned but it has to be extremely hoppy like an IPA but it's not an IPA because it uses a lager yeast except when it doesn't but it's cold conditioned or possibly not cold conditioned and you must remember it isn't an IPL because an IPL is a lager which is hopped like an IPA whereas a Cold IPA is an IPA which is fermented or conditioned like a lager. Easy!We actually fermented this with a lager yeast cold, we even cold-conditioned it for a bit! Pineapple, light pine, juicy hops, clean body. Crisp bitterness.
