After years of sweet-talking the collab between Dok Brewing & De Kromme Haring is finally here! The Dutch-Belgian team of brewers decided to brew a double decoction black lager, inspired by Czech brewtraditions.A Kafka-esque brewing experience as De Haring brewhouse is not designed for this (at all) and as such had to be manhandled into submission. One could say too much effort went into this brew, but it was fun, educational and the result is a product of our mutual love for brewing and each other. The beer by the way, is also monumentally drinkable. It is not compassion for a fellow human being that prevents the man from mashing out… How about if I sleep a little bit longer and forget all this nonsense.
