"A combination we used before in the BAP, previous iterations had separate beers blended after maturation, this time round we took a low abv porter and our rum red dark base beer, blended them 50 / 50 prior to barrel filling. The result is a further mellowing of the coarser red elements with the sweetest porter. The American oak expresses vanilla which plays quite nicely with the low rider fruit esters."
