Smoked Barleywine made with 100% smoked malt at a rate of 1kg per litre of finished beer. We used equal quantities of malt smoked from 4 different woods, Beechwood, Cherrywood, Manuka & Applewood. We upped the ante with the 2023 edition, using a reiterated mash technique with a 2.5 hour boil to create this intense flavour sensation, best described as liquid bacon jerky.
