Platform 6.1 is inspired by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Legend has it he built a secret platform at Bristol Temple Meads station; a high speed link directly to the Wickwar brewery, the fastest way of reaching his favourite beer. We don’t know the truth, but we do know that fables should be told over a pint.
