Orchard Orgy

Описание

Orchard Orgy is our exploration of re-fruiting previous year's fruited golden sours with this year's fruit. Orchard Orgy is comprised of our #4 Golden Sour + Peaches from 2017 that was re-fruited with Perfection Apricots harvested in June 2018. This beer was then aged in Breckenridge Peach Bourbon barrels-- Breckenridge Distillery fruited white-dog whiskey on Palisade Peach puree, then aged that bourbon for 5 years. Only 5 oak barrels were produced of this special Peach Bourbon release, and we got 4 of these awesome barrels! Once finished resting in these barrels we blended 25% of 2018 harvest Fruit Squad + Peaches to brighten the peach character. Considering final yields and re-fruiting, Orchard Orgy used nearly 9 pounds of fruit per finished gallon of beer!
