This beer comes from barrel A22 - one of the barrels that originally housed 6 Bretts. We solera'd that barrel 18 months ago and the result is one of great depth, with a nod to the 6 Bretts.Plenty of funk on the nose, with some good tropical character coming through too. You really get a sense of where this beer came from. The acid is firmer than 6 Bretts, this is to be expected with an older culture of Pedio. On the palate, tropical funk comes through, but also some good barnyard notes.
