Strawberry & Elderflower | 2022 Harvest

Blend of traditionally brewed spontaneously fermented beers across two brewing seasons, with the oldest portion brewed in the Spring of 2019. In early June, our team went out to one of our favorite Central Jersey farms to hand-harvest elderflower before destemming it and soaking it cold overnight in the blend. This portion of the blend was then laid down in cask to mellow. Just after harvesting elderflower, we received our harvest of overripe New Jersey strawberries that were hand-crushed and added directly to the same blend at a rate of 8 lbs per gallon
