This beer was a super fun experiment for us.For the super light, quenchable mouthfeel, we re-pitched our Kölsch yeast to ferment this beer. We hopped it with El Dorado and Motueka and then added Strata Terpenes.Terpenes are what give hops (or any plant) their flavor and aroma. Hops are naturally full of them, but we added extra terpenes in the form of concentrated hop oil. This gives a super dank, powerful aroma on top of the flavors already present from the other ingredients.The flavor has a berry, watermelon, and fruit cup taste. It’s complex in its undertones and aroma, yet straightforward in its quenching, refreshing drink ability. The mouthfeel is light, the aroma is pleasant and the flavor opens as it warms.Its the perfect beer to dissect as you gather around a fire to sing... well... Kumbaya of course.
