Backdrop: Buckwheat Farmhouse Ale (9/19/23)

Our next exploration in base farmhouse beers is here! This single puncheon was aged for almost a year before we decided it was ready for packaging. Unlike other adjuncts we use in our base beers, I really don't know how to describe how the buckwheat contributes to the beer besides the word "rustic." There's a bit of all the other adjuncts contributions here; yeast ester complexity, a bit of body, and enough complexity to clearly make it different than the others. Worthy of a purchase for sure.
