Mountain Culture's Head Brewer DJ McCready is a strange but beautiful man, so our Head Brewer Scotty said "yes…dammit."This smoked AltBier glows a dark, mahogany red and draws you in with an inviting, toasty malt chorus and a yodel of smokey affection. The hearty malt is balanced by spicy Noble Hop and the German AltBier yeast strain gives clean, light esters. It shouldn’t work, but it does. The wispy smoke gives way to a gregarious slap dance of malt and gentle spice, that finishes soft and clean, demanding another playful sip. Or is that slap? DJ definitely deserves another slap.
