Broandjoar 1905, named after the great fire of Vriezenveen that put more than 200 houses and 2 churches in ashes in the year 1905. 1600 people became homeless that day. Paintings still remind us of this desaster and we hope this beer will too. This Black Barley Wine is sweet, and a little alcoholic (gets smoother with time for sure). Flavors of caramel, chocolate, dark candy, raisins and very far away some liquorice.
