This fruity beer gets its name from an old nautical timekeeping system. A ship’s crew would be split into watches, with each on duty for four hours, then off for four hours. A bell was struck every 30 minutes – and the crew would enthusiastically anticipate the eighth ring, which signalled the end of their shift.A citrus, floral, and lychee aroma charms the senses before being met with a delicious flavour profile that features notes of pear and grapefruit. Strike the Bell is crafted with Maris Otter and Cara Gold malts, together with Fuggles, Cascade, Citra, and Calypso hops.
