We created this beer using 100% (water excluded) American ingredients! We pair with Two Track Malting malt and White Labs yeast because #malt and #yeast are essential components that define the characteristics of a finished beer! The lightest crystal malt from Two Track provides some caramel nuance, the yeast we selected - WLP1983 aka Charlie's "Fist Bump" yeast - echoes the spirit of collaboration by the inventor Charlie Papazian, the founder of The American Homebrewers Association. As for the #hop, one of the Yakima’s varieties we opted for, Comet, highlights the branding of "wild American," which we feel suits this beer's identity perfectly!
