Springwood is a Pilsner with a difference. To make this West Coast Pilsner we worked with our mates at Wheelhouse brewing in British Columbia who helped put together a clean and crisp banger. we loaded up the kettle with NZ Riwaka, Motueka and Moutere hops on the hot side then added a massive dry hop of classic US Amarillo.Notes of subtle grapefruit and lime zest sit atop an oily and resinous pine backbone. This is reinforced by a careful addition of NZ grown pine needles to create a snappy, flavourful and dynamic modern Pilsner.
