Gilly is a young variety: a product of the apple breeding program ran by Liz Copas and her team at Long Ashton Research Station through the 1990’s. It is a light bittersharp that ripens in mid September, which produced a fruity but gentle cider, with a light tannic finnish. This is our first ever Gilly and we are delighted with the crisp, green, juicy flavour.Pressed Sep 2020Bottled June 2021
