Columbus, EKG, Fuggles, Challenger & Simcoe.We named it after our Grade II listed, built on the skew, Tamworth Road Bridge which spans the originally known 'Sawley Road'. Constructed 1837-1838 the bridge was the only one in the contract specified to be entirely built of stone & is one of the earliest type of railway skew arched bridges in the world built according to the ‘helicoidal’ system of construction.
