Bière de Garde aged in Espresso Liqueur Whiskey BarrelsHere's a one-off experiment we tried and love what we got from it! This blend is a single barrel of Bière de Garde aged for 4 months in a Marble Distilling Moonlight EXpresso barrel. We brewed this batch of Biere de Garde just for this barrel. The barrel character is primarily in the nose and the start of the many sips one will want. The taste is rich and roasty with med/high acidity. The beer finishes like 2016, back when we thought everyone wanted dark farmhouse ales.
