Rewind was brewed to merge the best parts of east-coast and west-coast IPAs.The west coast style was put forth using a heavy hot-side hop addition for both the bittering (boil) and whirlpool additions to give it a clean bitterness. Furthermore, all dry-hops were added post fermentation with a recirculation method to maintain both Oxydized and Hydrocarbon hops (fruity and green/pinny) characteristics of the hops.The east-coast style was put forth with the malt bill with a high rate of flaked oats, wheat, and no caramel malts. The soft water profile promoting chlorides over sulfides mellow out the hop bite. English yeast was also used.The hop selection of Sultana, Mosaic, and Lemon Drop give a balance between both style
