Saison brewed with Sauvignon Blanc must and dry-hopped with Nelson hops (hops grow on "bines").This fun little project started with a semi-traditional Saison base of organic Admiral Pilsner malt with some wheat and spelt, fermented with a blend of Belgian and French Saison yeasts to achieve complex spicy character and a smooth mouthfeel, despite its high attenuation and dryness.During fermentation a small amount of Sauvignon Blanc grape must was added, and the beer was finished off with a moderate dry hop of Nelson hops.Spicy and complex and crisp with light vinous character from the grapes, plus additional Sauvignon Blanc and tropical notes from the dry hop - a summer beer that's sure to show you a good time.
