Tube Screamer explores and expresses the new haze craze world of thiols. The beer starts with low and under-modified malts in the grist that act as a precursor to express bound tropical flavours, with hops added to the mash that are high in 3MH flavour compounds to push grapefruit and passionfruit flavours. We then added phantasm powder to the whirlpool which comes from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes along with Cascade and Idaho 7 hops. Fermented with White Labs Tropicale yeast and dry hopped with Riwaka hops from New Zealand and Yakima Chief 303 hop blend, this double IPA gives a tight frequency of tropical flavours, overdriven with juicy, sticky mango and guava.
