Combining powers to celebrate missed anniversaries, we teamed up with our friends at McKays Beer Garden to create the most aggressively catty and passionfruity Fieldwork Westcoast IPA. To get this beer to mimic the most diesel-laden Sauvignon Blanc possible, we paired together the most pungent Nelson and Simcoe hops our noses could select. With just our base Pilsner malt, these two legends of hops, and a whole bunch of thiol-boosting enzymes, we cranked Nelson & Co up to unfounded cattiness levels, resulting in a crisp, clean, and bright Westcoast IPA that is saturated in notes of freshly squeezed passion fruit, Marlborough Sauvignon-esque cat piss, pressed pine needles, diesel fuel vapor, flint, sweet gooseberries, pink guava, and white grapefruit flesh. While all of that sounds like it belongs in a witch's cauldron, we can confirm it is, in fact, beyond excellent and an impeccable example of what great things can come from releasing the thiols in these two sultans of stench.Hops: Nelson, Simcoe
