This ‘Rye Ale’ is based on an American Amber Ale, but a little bit lighter and with the addition of Rye Malt and aging on American Oak.Brewed as an ode to American Rye Whiskey, American Pie by Don Mclean & Double o Bo by Pink Floyd.Caramel, citrus & spice are delicately balanced in the aroma & flavour.Vanilla & coconut come through in the finish from the American oak.If Rye whiskey was a beer, it would probably taste a lot like this.
