The Carl Wittmann Dunkel has a beautiful, maroon color. The smell and taste are reminiscent of strong, roasted aromatic notes of dark chocolate, roasted malt, a little caramel and a hint of black bread and dried fruit. A lively perlage ensures lightness, despite the density of aromas. The hops remain cautious and leave the main role to the dark aromas - as it should be with an old Bavarian dark beer.
