A southern German style of wheat beer (weissbier) made with a ratio of 65:35 wheat/pale malt. Authentic Hefe yeast was used to produce the unique phenolic flavors of banana and some spiciness of clove, it can also be perceived as notes of apples. Subtle Noble Hop bitterness (Hallertau Mittelfrüh) adds to the crisp complexity of this incredibly drinkable Ale. The "Hefe" prefix means "with yeast", hence the beers unfiltered and cloudy appearance.
