As this is being offered in the winter, we wanted to use a bigger grain bill featuring some roasted speciality malts which would generally not be found in our versions of Pale Ales. A fruit forward beer with a sustained but pleasant bitterness awaits. The beer has a full bodied presence, with a sharp mouthfeel. This is what we would call an old school pale ale, and represents the type of beers that got us into this world in the first place. Citra and Idaho 7 hops lend their aromas and flavours as the dry hop additions of this one.
